Just think of it. The lights of Bound for Glory have just faded with Aces and Eights in control of the situation. So they can come and go as they please. The fans would be tuned in on Thursday to find out what their next move would be. As the leader of Aces and Eights and his entourage gather to celebrate, Hogan and Sting come out from the curtain.

"Not so fast," Hogan blasts on the mic.
"You may have won the match at Bound for Glory, but you did so outside the limits of our agreement, leading me to make another match. Turning Point seems appropriate for a 5 on 5 elimination match. I have a chosen captain in mind. THAT is a fact I'll keep to myself, for the moment, but rest assured, you'll find out that he's no one to be triffled with."

Fast forward through the promos and obvious posturing leading up the event. All other participants have been chosen. The lights go out. A brilliant light from behind the entrance ramp explodes into view and up from the ramp, to a brand new entrance tune steps Chris Jericho.

Imagine it. Don't argue with it, just imagine. Would it be an amazing pick-up from the WWE roster? I have no doubt. Do I believe he would be a game changer? Maybe. IF he is allowed into the creative process, he could be a potent asset as he has proven that he can train ANYONE to have a good match and steal a show.

Why do I bring this up? Because as of this week, WWE and the man himself have given up negotiations for the moment. Now, let's just say that TNA and Jericho could pound out an agreement similar to Kurt Angle, where he could work limited dates and still be a part of the main roster. That kind of arrangement would be something of beauty. Truly.

There are others coming onto the free market worth mentioning, but I'll leave THAT for another time.
